Register of Municipalities located within the Boundary Area
Description
Register of Brazilian municipalities with total or partial area located within the Boundary Area, which is the 150 km-wide inner strip, parallel to the land boundary line of the national territory, aggregating existing information (geographical code and municipality name) with those produced in the identification and/or classification of the municipality inside the area, such as: bordering, partially or totally within the area, references from seat to boundary line and to the internal area limit.
Objective
The main purpose is the identification of the political and administrative units of Brazil located within the Boundary Area that are under national security rules, especially in relation to public works of civil engineering, participation by foreigners in rural properties or enterprises in these areas, land and service concessions, and financial support by federal government; secondarily, in relation to special locality pay.
Main users
SAE, MARE, Labor Courts, Municipalities and Human Resources Units of Public Organizations that operate within the country’s border.
