The following topics were approached in this seminar:
- presentation and discussion of proposals relative to some fundamental concepts in Continuous PNAD, such as: active-age population (PIA), employment, unemployment, labor for self-consumption and volunteer work;
- the Continuous PNAD test scheduled to take place at a moment from the last quarter of 2009 on in about 40,000 households;
- general information about the pilot test of Simplified POF, to be conducted from February to June 2009, with a brief presentation of the additional model, based on the average value of acquisitions;
- overall information about:
- the conclusion of POF 2008-2009 POF and the release schedule;
- the Social Statistical Committee and the selection of topics for SIPD;
- the Brazilian Classification of Occupations; and
- the module on Victimization to be included in PNAD 2009.
