Annual Survey of Construction Industry - 2009
This publication gathers a group of economic and financial information which allows the estimation of basic structural characteristics of the construction sector in the country, at the same time it monitors the evolution of this same segment in time.
It presents, among other aspects, data relative to employed persons, salaries, costs and expenses, revenue and value of construction services performed. Results are based on version 2.0 of the National Classification of Economic Activities – CNAE, and are followed by an analysis which illustrates the potentialities of the survey database, in two sections. The first one refers to overall survey results of 2009, with emphasis on some of the factors which positively affected the dynamics of this sector. The second section presents a comparison between data of the main types of construction services performed in 2008 and 2009, for each group of selected products, in enterprises with 30 or more employed persons.
The publication also includes technical notes about methodological aspects of the survey. The CD-ROM enclosed with the publication contains, besides information in the printed volume, the updated table plan for years 2002 to 2009.
