National Classification of Economic Activities CNAE Version 2.0 – Subclasses for Use by the Public Administration
It presents the base of organization and application of the version 2.0 of the CNAE Subclasses for use by the Public Administration, the explanatory notes and the tables of correspondence with the previous version of the subclasses of the Fiscal-CNAE 1.1.
The subclasses CNAE are used for identification of the economic activity of the units of production in registers of the federal, state and municipal administration and constitute an important instrument of organization of the systems of information which support the decisions and actions of the Government.
It results from a partnership between IBGE and the Technical Subcommission for the CNAE-Subclasses. .
The data now released are also available in the CD-ROM enclosed in the publication.
